British retailer Tesco PLC is cutting nearly 50 jobs at its Fresh & Easy headquarters in California, according to a statement by a company spokesperson, Reuters reported July 27.
In a statement, Tesco emphasized that it is not planning to shutter its loss-making Fresh & Easy operations in the U.S.
Fresh & Easy currently has slightly more than 5,000 employees.
