Red Bull director of category insights Guy Wootton said that according to research conducted by his company, 92% of U.S. energy drinkers visit quick-service restaurants, QSR Magazine reported April 19.
According to the research, 81% said they would be likely or extremely likely to buy an energy drink in a quick-service restaurant, while 70% said it would be incremental to their existing beverage purchases.
Wootton said that nearly 33% of quick-service patrons buy energy drinks, but very few quick serves actually offer energy drinks.
