Chicago's Beverage Testing Institute announces wine, beer, spirits products whose packaging has been recognized in the 2011 Annual Packaging Competition
February 16, 2012
– At the end of each year, BTI offers the opportunity for industry players to showcase their brands' designs. We called upon our most seasoned trade panelists to analyze and rate hundreds of wine, beer, and spirits bottles, labels, and gift boxes and determine who excelled in the important area of packaging.
The relentless competition for retail shelf space and back bars coupled with a growing number of producers and brands means that creative marketers need an effective medium to convey their brands' message. In the absence of personal representation, packaging is a brand’s silent salesperson. When sales reps and brand ambassadors hit the streets, the added advantage of a BTI packaging accolade, along with a quality liquid, provides a powerful tool for securing placements.
