According to the trade group Chocosuisse, the total revenue of Switzerland’s chocolate industry fell 3.1% in 2011 to 1.69 billion francs (US$1.84 billion), Bloomberg reported Feb. 10.
In an emailed statement, Chocosuisse attributed the decline to the strength of the franc weighing on exports.
