U.K. newsprint prices unchanged or lowered in many new contracts, bringing levels back to those seen in H1 2011, due to weak demand; only price increases in newsprint appear to be isolated, such as for improved newsprint

LOS ANGELES , January 25, 2012 () –

Price markups were isolated and applied in certain cases, such as for improved newsprint.

Buyers had the advantage in the contract negotiations as newsprint supply exceeds demand currently, said market players, EUWID-Paper reported.
