BOA Recycling Equipment, known for its balers and associated products managed to re-enter the South-African market with a sales of a prepress flap baler and conveyor to Sappi Paper and Paper Packaging in Cape Town. The South-African market was a market that BOA served for years but because of not having a good representative, it was hard to maintain its leading position.
Due to the appointment of a new representative, the company Graintec/Makeway in Johannesburg and though a still large number of operational references after 25 years of operation and more, BOA managed to increase its presence. This result in the first order at Sappi, the second baler plus conveyor in the South-African market in 2011, delivered by BOA.
The baler type M75 is processing paper and cardboard (K5) mainly and has sold to do a capacity of approximately 15 tons per hour at an input density of 60 kg/m3. The objective for sappi is to load 26 tons of OOC in a 40 feet high cube container, a target which was easily reached. By means of a modem, BOA is capable of providing teleservice.
