Brazil's Eldorado Celulose e Papel names Giacoma Frasson Manhaes to lead sales to Latin American market, Evandro Muzilli to lead pulp sales to Asian market, and Christoph Berberat to coordinate BEKP sales to Europe, Middle East, Africa

TRES LAGOAS, Brazil , January 12, 2012 (press release) – ELDORADO CELULOSE E PAPEL, who is building the world’s largest pulp mill in a single line in the world in Três Lagoas Brazil, with 1.5 million ton/year of Bleached Eucalyptus Kraft Pulp capacity and with start-up scheduled for early November 2012, is pleased to announce the growth of its Commercial department.

To lead the sales to the Latin American market, including Brazilian customers, Eldorado has hired GIACOMA FRASSON MANHÃES. Giacoma, who will also have the responsibility of Technical Development, has a degree in Chemistry and Ph.D by the Sao Paulo University and has more than 15 years of experience in the pulp industry. Previously to Eldorado, Giacoma, who is a Brazilian citizen, has worked for Aracruz, Bacel and Jari. She is based in Sao Paulo at Eldorado’s HQ.

In Europe, Eldorado is bringing CHRISTOPH BERBERAT, to coordinate the sales of BEKP to the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) countries. Christoph, who will be based in Switzerland, is aSwiss national, has Paper Manufacturing Engineer degree and more than 17 years of experience in the industry, especially within Sappi Group, where he has held various position in different areas and in different countries, with vast knowledge of the European pulp, paper and tissue industry. Christoph will start as of May 1st.

In Asia, EVANDRO MUZILLI is in charge of Eldorado’s pulp sales to the Asian market. Evandro is based in Shanghai and has a deep knowledge of the pulp industry, especially of the Chinese market, since he is based in Shanghai for many years. Previously to Eldorado, Evandro was in charge of VCP pulp sales to Asia. Evandro is a Brazilian citizen and has a Business Administration degree.

Giacoma, Evandro and Christoph reports to Reginaldo Gomes, Commercial and Logistics Director.

Regarding the North American market, Eldorado will make another announcement soon.
