Belgium-based cleaning products company Ecover launches £4M television advertising campaign to promote its eco-friendly laundry detergent in the U.K., where Ecover has 2% market share

LOS ANGELES , January 9, 2012 () – Belgium-based cleaning products company Ecover is launching its first-ever TV advertising campaign in an effort to promote its eco-friendly laundry detergent in the U.K., Marketing Week reported on Jan. 9.

Ecover is initiating the £4 million (US$6.2 million) campaign this year. The “Feel Good Cleaning” campaign includes a 30-second TV commercial as well as outdoor, print and digital ads, social media and in-store promotions.

Currently, Ecover has 2% of the market share in the UK, but the company hopes to have 3%-5% of the UK market share in the next four years.
