Smurfit Kappa Group has signed a nine-year lease for a 9,400-sq.-meter warehouse in Turnhout, Belgium, with Goodman Group, Property Magazine International reported Dec. 5.
The property is at the Turnhout Logistics Centre, which is near Belgium’s Port of Antwerp and the cities of Breda, Tilburg and Eindhoven in the Netherlands. It is also positioned as a transit hub serving Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.
Smurfit Kappa is headquartered in Dublin and operates in 30 countries in Europe and Latin America. It produces containerboard, corrugated and solid board packaging, according to its website.
