Clorox enters personal care industry with launch of Gud natural skin care range; company hopes to target consumers in 20-something age bracket in attempt to bring them natural personal care products that are more affordable

LOS ANGELES , November 17, 2011 () – Clorox Co. officially enters into the personal care products industry with the launch of its Gud natural skin care range, CosmeticsDesign.com reported Nov. 17.

The skin care range was inspired by the acquisition of the Burt’s Bees business in 2007. The range contains natural-based ingredients and will include eight products for the skin care and hair care industries.

Clorox VP George Roeth said the company is hoping to target consumers in the 20-something age bracket in an attempt to bring them natural personal care products that are more affordable, CosmeticsDesign.com reported.
