Forest products companies join British Columbia's largest ever trade mission to China, India, from Nov. 4, led by premier Christy Clark and jobs, forests ministers

– Tolko Industries, West Fraser Timber and Hampton Affiliates will join more than 120 companies and organizations taking part in the province's largest ever trade mission to China and India.
Other forest products companies and groups taking part include Ainsworth, Canasia Forests Products, BC Wood Specialties Group, Canada Wood Group, Canfor, CIPA Lumber Co., Coast Forest Products Assn., Conifex, FPInnovations' Forintek Division, Interex Forest Products, Interfor, Interior Lumber Manufacturer's Assn. and Western Forest Products.
In total, more than 250 representatives from more than 120 mining, energy, forestry, seafood, transportation and education companies and organizations will join the mission. Premier Christy Clark will depart for China on Nov. 4, accompanied by jobs minister Pat Bell and forests minister Steve Thomson.
Premier Christy Clark said the mission's goals were to strengthen existing relationships in the Asia-Pacific region, set the stage for future economic opportunities and attract new investment to the province.
