Mondi launches uncoated professional paper DNS performance developed for laser, high-speed inkjet, offset printing technology

JOHANNESBURG , October 27, 2011 (press release) – DNS® performance is Mondi’s latest paper for professional printers specialising in transactional, digital print communication and digital print publishing applications.

Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper launches DNS® performance, its fourth product in the DNS® (Digital Needs Specialist) portfolio. The new paper was developed for professional laser, high-speed inkjet and offset printing technology.

“Versatility has always been a key feature of the DNS® brand. DNS® performance presents particular benefits to printers, creative industries and publishing houses for specific applications and machine use. As an uncoated paper well-suited for both black and white and colour reproduction, DNS® performance targets transactional and direct mailing markets for applications such as invoices, statements and legal documents. Furthermore, digital printers can rely on the paper’s digital machine compatibility for personalised marketing materials and on-demand custom printing. DNS® performance also has a traditional offset shade that is favoured by the book printing industry.

DNS® performance is produced at Mondi SCP in Ruzomberok, Slovakia — a mill known for having a low carbon footprint and winning the 2010 PPI Award for Environmental Strategy of the year. As a sustainably produced Green Range paper, it is also PEFC™ and EU Ecolabel certified.
