– PCA, a Consolidated Graphics, Inc. company (NYSE: CGX) specializing in large scale projects produced on small to medium format presses, announced today it has achieved G7 Master Printer status through IDEAlliance, the nonprofit industry organization that develops, educates, and validates best practices in publishing and information technology. PCA’s G7 Master Printer designation highlights the company’s commitment to quality, consistency and color management.
“Quality is one of our key differentiators at PCA, and our recently acquired G7 Master Printer status provides our customers with the assurance that we are doing everything we can to protect the quality of their projects in terms of color matching and consistency,” said Richard Jones, President of PCA. “It also proves our commitment to minimizing waste and maximizing production efficiencies, which benefit PCA, our customers, and ultimately our environment.”

By achieving the status of a G7 Master Printer, PCA can reliably produce high quality printing with a close visual appearance from proof to press, as well as from press to press. As a G7 Master Printer, the company will go through a yearly requalification audit to ensure it maintains IDEAlliance calibration and process standards.
