CHICAGO , October 7, 2011 () – Grains futures fell Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 8.50 cents to $6.0750 a bushel; December corn fell 5.50 cents to $6 a bushel; December oats fell 3.50 cents to $3.21 a bushel; while November soybeans fell 5.50 cents to $11.5825 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle fell 0.55 cent to $1.2185 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.78 cent to $1.4235 a pound; and December lean hogs rose 0.18 cent to 89.40 cents a pound.
