Austrian packaging producer Duropack offers to buy remaining shares of Croatian packaging company Belisce

LOS ANGELES , October 6, 2011 () – Packaging producer Duropack AG made an offer to purchase the remaining shares of packaging manufacturer Belisce d.d, said the Zagreb stock exchange on its website, Bloomberg reported Oct. 6.

Paperboard maker Duropack, based in Vienna, Austria, already owns 67% of Croatian company Belisce d.d., Bloomberg reported.

Paper and packaging producer Belisce manufacturers packaging and wrapping material made of paper, corrugating, plastic and cellulose, as well as lumber, pallets and paper bags.

The Belisce, Croatia-based company operates 10 production facilities in Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. It was founded in 1884, Bloomberg reported.

Duropack AG is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vienna-based Constantia Packaging AG.
