Grains futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery jumped 21.25 cents to $6.2525 a bushel; December corn rose 17.75 cents to $6.0550 a bushel; December oats rose 0.50 cent to $3.25 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 3.75 cents to $11.6375 a bushel.
Beef futures and pork futures also rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
December live cattle rose 1.10 cent to $1.2265 a pound; November feeder cattle rose 0.85 cent to $1.4175 a pound; and December lean hogs rose 1.57 cent to 88.42 cents a pound.
