Brazil's state-owned oil company Petrobras receives bid proposals for 21 offshore drilling rigs to be built in Brazil for its exploration, production activities

RIO DE JANEIRO , October 4, 2011 (press release) – Petrobras has received today (October 3), the bid proposals for the hiring of services and chartering of 21 offshore drilling rigs to be built in Brazil. The units will be used in the Company's exploration and production development activities.

Petrobras is currently analyzing documents submitted by Ocean Rig do Brasil Ltda. and Sete Brasil Participações S.A. with the terms and conditions set forth under the bidding rules.
