L'Oreal develops daily medication that aims to prevent grey hair, expected to hit market within four years

LOS ANGELES , October 3, 2011 (press release) – Hair product company L’Oreal has developed a medication that its scientists say will prevent grey hair, The Australian reported Oct. 3.

The daily medication is based on a fruit extract and is expected to be made available to the public within four years.

Safety trials are currently being undertaken worldwide. However, L'Oreal acknowledged that the pill's effectiveness will not be known until it has been on the market for at least a decade.
