Chevron Phillips Chemical to acquire PAO plant in Beringen, Belgium, from Neste Oil to expand presence in Europe, serve growing demand for PAO use in lubricants, other applications

– Chevron Phillips Chemical International NV (Chevron Phillips Chemical), a wholly owned subsidiary of Chevron Phillips Chemical Company LLC, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire a polyalphaolefin (PAO) plant located in Beringen, Belgium, from Neste Oil NV, a wholly owned subsidiary of Neste Oil Corporation.

The purchase is expected to be completed within a few months following regulatory approvals and satisfaction of necessary closing conditions.
