RDA Holding appoints Robert Guth, previous CEO of telecommunications company TelCove, to president, CEO of Reader's Digest Assn., succeeding Tom Williams, effective immediately

– RDA Holding Co. today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Robert Guth President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, of The Reader's Digest Association, Inc (RDA), the global multi-brand media company and direct marketer of books, magazines, music, video and non-published products. Mr. Guth is also a member of the Board and succeeds Tom Williams who has left the company.

Mr. Guth, 48, joined RDA's Board of Directors in April 2011 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology and telecommunications sector, including four years as CEO and two years as Chairman of telecommunications company TelCove, a restructured business which he grew into a high-performing industry leader. Mr. Guth also has extensive board directorship experience, currently serving on the Nominating and Governance Committee of nTelos Holdings, Corp., the Audit Committee of Integra Telecom, and the Compensation Committee of Otelco. From 2006 to 2007, Mr. Guth held the position of President of the Business Markets Group of Level 3 Communications, an internet service provider.
