Canada's Yellow Pages launches two mobile local search products for businesses, including extension of current placement advertising, advertising showcase within commonly searched categories

With 30% of YellowPages.ca(TM) digital searches now stemming from mobile, the platform is proving to be a growing source of leads for businesses advertising with Yellow Pages Group (YPG).
Today, the company announced that it is introducing two new mobile local search products to its services, enabling businesses to reach consumers at the exact moment they are actively looking to locate goods and services, and ready to make a purchase.
The first product in the new YPG mobile offering is an extension of existing placement advertising products currently available on the YellowPages.ca website. It allows businesses to place themselves at the top of the list for any mobile search in which their services fit the results so users see their listing first.
The second product enables national businesses to showcase their brand in relevant commonly-searched categories such as restaurants, hardware, pharmacies and banks. Clicking on the featured logo will open up a page with more information, upcoming sales or promotions and links to the closest location of the given business.
