Washington Forest Protection Assn., representing private forest landowners, to focus on how to help state's economy grow through use of wood products at 102nd annual meeting Nov. 17

– The Washington Forest Protection Association (WFPA) is holding its 102nd annual meeting on Wednesday, November 17, at the Indian Summer Golf & Country Club in Olympia. The meeting will feature a series of panels and presentations focusing on ideas to help our state grow its economy, through use of wood products.
The meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. and will include notable presentations from Washington State legislative leadership, business and conservation leaders and state government agency directors. There will be a special presentation from notable economist, Dr. Bill Conerly.
"In these challenging economic and political times, it is important to work together to find solutions to maintain our high environmental standards and promote job growth in our State," said WFPA Executive Director Mark Doumit.
