WASECA, Minnesota , June 3, 2010 (press release) – Brown Printing Company today announced the installation of perfect bound variable trim binding technology in their Waseca, MN facility.

The new equipment allows perfect bound products with varying face trims to be comanufactured in a single in-line process, creating additional opportunities for postage savings. The technology offers customers increased flexibility in trim size and inkjet options without sacrificing the distribution savings associated with offline co-mailing.

“We are focused on implementing technologies and solutions that help our customers maintain flexibility while reducing costs,” explained Rod Manor, Executive Vice President of Manufacturing and Distribution. “We are excited to continue the development of Brown’s VTB solutions that have helped our customers remain competitive in today's marketplace.”

The new perfect bound capabilities join Brown’s existing saddle stitched variable trim solutions located in their Woodstock, IL facility.
