LOS ANGELES , August 14, 2020 (press release) –

The COVID-19 pandemic and the urgency to maintain social distancing have pushed companies to adopt digital infrastructure enabling employees to maintain productivity while working from home. As economies reopen globally, new workplace practices may become permanent.

A PwC global survey of 699 CEOs shows that 78% of the respondents believe the pandemic-driven shift toward remote collaboration is here to stay. Far fewer people will be working together in offices.

While business leaders are generally satisfied with their teams' at-home productivity, they are concerned about their ability to bond remotely, according to training provider ExecOnline.

“Executives need everyone to stay engaged and stay on the same page without being in the same room,” says Rami Ghandour, CEO of Industry Intelligence. “And how do you drive conversations, foster relationships and build alignment without those brown bag lunch events and the office water cooler that people once loved?”

Today’s business conversations happen virtually. Because of this new normal, Industry Intelligence is launching the built-to-order Microsoft Teams Intelligence Map to help corporate clients succeed in today’s remote-work environment.

“People’s workday is typically influenced by what’s going on in the market and what conversations are happening in the workplace,” says Ghandour. “A market event triggers a conversation and the conversation can shape the rest of your workflow.”

Industry Intelligence integrates market pulse seamlessly into the corporate client’s Microsoft Teams app. Users can read real-time market news within their Microsoft Teams app. Whether via IM or video call, users can instantly incorporate into their chats a market story that has freshly appeared within their app.

“The intelligence integration happens organically and the content feed changes in real time,” explains Ghandour. “Email and Zoom aren’t always the solutions in today’s attention economy. Intelligence sent via email sometimes sits in people’s inbox forever. And many work-from-home professionals now find that Zoom meetings eat up the workday. Most intelligence tidbits can be shared during the short, spontaneous chats that are happening on Microsoft Teams every day.”

For over 20 years, Industry Intelligence has been at the forefront of making market pulses and insights available at subscribers’ fingertips, enabling timely and informed decision-making. For questions about the Teams Intelligence Map, please contact ClientCare@IndustryIntel.com for a demo.
