Iggesund Tools supplies a number of Northwest mills with TurnKnife System for chippers

Washington Alder located in Mt. Vernon, Wash. has selected Iggesund Tools to supply the TurnKnife® System for the mill’s new chipper. The company also announced that its new mill, Port Angeles Hardwood, being built in Port Angeles, Wash., will use Iggesund’s TurnKnife®System on its chippers.
Across the state border in Brookings, Ore., South Coast Lumber Co. started up its new mill with Iggesund Tools’ power heads for the primary breakdown and Iggesund Tools’ chipping heads on the Coe curve saw gang. The mill’s chipper was also equipped with Iggesund’s TurnKnife® System with Helical Face Technology. Recognized worldwide as a chipping and chip quality expert, Iggesund Tools specializes in reversible, disposable knife systems that consistently produce high quality chips and boards.
