Except for a £15 (US$25) per-tonne decrease in brown recycled containerboard, prices for corrugated board in the U.K. were unchanged in April, reported Euwid on May 8.
The British containerboard market appeared to be mixed, with consumption and sales up year-over-year for some but not for all, according to paper producers and box manufacturers.
Containerboard demand is currently satisfactory, though supplies are readily available on short notice to converters. Orders picked up in April after a typical seasonal lull in March, Euwid reported.
