Unicharm's Indian patent application for 'disposable wearing article' published

Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (7370/CHENP/2012 A) filed by Unicharm Corp., Ehime, Japan, on Aug. 24, 2012, for 'disposable wearing article.'
The application for the patent - which was invented by Takaya Arayama and Hirotomo Mukai - was published on Jan. 10, under issue no. 02/2014.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A disposable diaper is provided with: a center slit which is formed in a portion of an absorption body the portion being located in a crotch region so that the absorption body can bend so as to project inward toward the wearer; and side slits formed in the absorption body in the lengthwise direction so that the absorption body can bend so as to project outward. The disposable diaper is also provided with a transverse elastic material which in an intermediate crotch region transverses the absorption body and is affixed to the absorption body. The absorption body is contracted by the transverse elastic material toward the center of the absorption body in the widthwise direction."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 23, 2011, under International application No. PCT/JP2011/053939.
