Inventors: Junya Sakoda (JP) and Takahiro Usui (JP).
According to the abstract* posted by the World Intellectual Property Organization: "Provided is a pet food for senior cats and the like for which the strict regulation of minerals is required. The pet food has a strictly regulated mineral content and stable quality while being of superior palatability. The ratio of free amino acids present on the pet food pellet surface is 5.0% or more relative to the total free amino acid content of the pet food, and the fluctuation between ten lots of product is 1.0% or less as defined by the maximum - minimum total mineral content."
The patent was filed on Dec. 17, 2012 under Application No. PCT/JP2012/082711.
