The corporate owners of The Birmingham News and the Mobile Press-Register are selling the newspapers' buildings.
The Alabama Media Group and Advance Central Services Alabama announced the plans in a story published Wednesday.
The companies, subsidiaries of New Jersey-based Advance Publications, operate al.com and publish the Birmingham newspaper, the Mobile paper and The Huntsville Times.
The Huntsville Times' building went on the market last month.
