Russia's imports of main chemicals, petrochemicals up 1.4% year-over-year to US$11.37B; China, Germany, South Korea, US, France top five exporters to country

DZERZHINSK, Russia , November 1, 2012 (Vestnik khimicheskoi promyshlennosty (CBNB Abstracts)) – Russian imports of the main chemicals and petrochemicals in 1H 2012 increased by 1.4% compared to the same period of 2011, up to $11.37 bn. The quantity (thousand tonnes and value in US$) of 21 imported items are listed by the table and shown in the figure, including plastics, rubber products, fibres, detergent, titanium dioxide, tyres, paints and dyes. The import of 11 item decreased compared to the same period of 2011. The 5 main exporters were China, Germany, South Korea, USA and France.
