Indian farmers are struggling as the nation's meteorlogical department expects the country to get at least 10% less rain in 2012 than during a normal monsoon season, the Associated Press reported Sept. 1.
Large parts of India, meanwhile, have been hit much harder, with some areas seeing up to a 50% decrease in rain, the department said.
