The divestment of Sanoma's book logistics company Porvoon Kirjakeskus Oy, announced on 2 March 2012, has been closed today. In the transaction Sanoma sold the entire share capital of Porvoon Kirjakeskus Oy to Bonnier Books Finland Oy. Finnish competition authorities approved the transaction on 15 March 2012.
The divestment is in line with Sanoma's strategy to focus its operations and to concentrate on consumer media and learning. The divestment will not affect the Sanoma Group's outlook for 2012.
