Tesco PLC has moved Bob Robbins, its U.K. COO, to work alongside CEO Philip Clarke on new initiatives, Dow Jones Newswires reported Feb. 1, citing an internal company announcement.
Robbins will be replaced by Chris Bush, Tesco's Thailand CEO.
The internal memo said Robbins would work on initiatives "which will leverage the skill and scale of Tesco and allow even greater investments to be made for customers."
Tesco recently issued its first profit warning in more than two decades amid a U.K. sales slump.
