Tri-County Truss, which manufactured roof and floor trusses at its 8.5-acre site at the Port of Skagit, Washington, until last August, has returned to business, according to a report by Building-Products.com.
The company, which laid off its 94 employees in August, was acquired in late October by The Truss Co., which has two other operations in Sumner, Washington, and Eugene, Oregon.
Tri-County Truss has kept its name under the new owners, and is back in production with 30 of its laid off workers and several members of the former management team.
