The Association of American Railroads reported Dec. 8 that major U.S. railroads originated 6,281 pulp, paper and allied products carloads for the week ended Dec. 3, down 0.2% year-over-year while major Canadian railroads originated 3,372 pulp, paper and allied products carloads, down 11.3%.
