El Paso Pipeline Partners Operating, L.L.C., a wholly owned operating subsidiary of El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. (NYSE: EPB), today announced that it plans to issue $500 million of senior notes due 2021 pursuant to an effective shelf registration statement on Form S-3 previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). El Paso Pipeline Partners Operating Company, L.L.C. intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to reduce outstanding indebtedness under its revolving credit facility and for general partnership purposes.
