WINNIPEG, Canada , February 28, 2011 (press release) – Yellow Pages Group (YPG) is reminding Winnipeg residents that they have until Friday, April 1, 2011 to opt-out of receiving their 2011 Yellow Pages print directory, to be distributed beginning in June in the Winnipeg area. Through Yellow Pages Group's Custom Delivery Program, residents can easily remove their names from the print directory delivery list.

"Our goal is to ensure that the print directory is delivered only to those who wish to receive them," said Annie Marsolais, Director, Corporate and Marketing Communications at Yellow Pages Group. "Print is just one of the media we offer in support of local search. We also operate Canada's leading local search website YellowPages.ca as well as offer YellowPages.ca mobile search apps. Therefore, we encourage Canadians who do not wish to receive the directory at their homes to opt-out of the delivery list."

Winnipeg households can easily opt-out of their Yellow Pages directory delivery online at www.ypg.com/delivery or by contacting Yellow Pages Group's Distribution Services at 1-800-268-5637.

Yellow Pages directory content is readily available online at YellowPages.ca™ and Canada411.ca™ or through mobile applications on Blackberry®, Apple iPhone™, Apple iPad™, Google™ Android™ and Windows Phone 7™ at www.yellowpages.ca/mobile.

Commitment to the Environment

In addition to addressing consumers' evolving needs, the Custom Delivery Program is part of YPG's commitment to the environment and the company's participation in the Changing the World, One Step at a Time program developed by Quebec-based organisation, Équiterre and supported by Green Communities Canada.

YPG regularly encourages waste reduction and recycling efforts across Canada. The Company works with provincial recycling councils nationwide and regularly reminds Canadians to recycle their old directories once the new ones arrive at their doorstep.

Yellow Pages directories are entirely recyclable and made from post-consumer fibres and waste wood. They can be disposed of as part of regular municipal recycling pickup. According to studies by organisations including RECYC-QUÉBEC and Stewardship Ontario, over 85% of Canadians recycle their outdated phonebooks versus less than 70% recycling newspapers and less than 40% recycling general use paper.

Further information on YPG's environmental commitment can be found at http://www.ypg.com/environment.
