Beacon Roofing Supply Inc. said Wednesday it appointed Paul M. Isabella CEO, effective Jan. 1. He replaces Robert R. Buck, who will remain chairman of the company's board.
Isabella has served as president and chief operating officer since 2007 and will retain the president title.
Beacon Roofing distributes roofing materials and building products. It operates 179 branches in 37 states and three Canadian provinces.
Shares rose 45 cents, or 2.6 percent, to $18.09 in morning trading.
