LOS ANGELES , September 17, 2008 () – Emballage Digest reported on Sept. 17 that Method Home will launch household cleaning bottles using 100% rPET in the U.S. market.

According to the publication, the company teamed up with Amcor PET Packaging in order to find the right resin mix to allow the use of rPET.

After previously using virgin material, Method has switched to all-recycled-material for three product lines that include cleaners and shower sprays.

The applications represent one of the first U.S. non-food applications to move to a container entirely made of rPET, Method stated.
