Graphic Arts Advisors (GAA), a leading M&A advisory and consulting firm serving the printing, mailing, packaging, and graphic communications industries, is pleased to announce the recently completed sale of Plumb Marketing located in Denver, Colorado to Sun Print Solutions, Salt Lake City, Utah. GAA was engaged by Plumb Marketing to find a buyer that would bring synergies into the business. A critical factor in the retention of Plumb Marketing’s customers and employees was to locate a like organization proficient at variable print and direct mail. “We were looking for a buyer with similar capabilities and alignment of values to continue serving the Denver print and direct mail market. Sun Print Solutions brings more technology, an expanded capacity to serve our customers, and the ability to handle a greater volume of political mail,” shared Lynndell Epp, CEO and Owner of Plumb Marketing. “Briana and I are excited to remain engaged and support the transition and growth into the next couple years.” Rod Bristol, GAA Director, served as GAA’s lead advisor for the owners of Plumb Marketing and noted, “It was a pleasure to work with the principals from both Plumb Marketing and Sun Print Solutions. Given that Denver is a growing market in a highly desirable city, GAA conducted a national search on behalf of the Epps which led to multiple offers from geographically diverse companies. The strategic and cultural fit with Sun Print Solutions stood head and shoulders above other prospective buyers.” Sun Print Solutions CEO / Partner Jennifer Pettinger echoed what amazing opportunities this purchase brings to her company. “Our strategic goal was to acquire a location in a major mountain state city that would be adjunctive to our facility in SLC. After a thoughtful search and conversations, we saw the value of purchasing Plumb Marketing. Now we will not only be able to grow services for existing customers but bring more capacity to address new segments, including the political print and mail needs in the Denver Market.” Mark Hahn, GAA Senior Managing Director, worked closely with the Epps and Rod Bristol to bring the search for the right buyer to a successful close and stated “I have known Lynndell and Briana for several years, and we also knew the owners of Sun from prior conversations and was aware of their strategic goal to acquire a location in a major mountain state city that would be adjunctive to their impressive facility in SLC.
