FUJIFILM North America Corporation’s Graphic Communication Division announced today that it will be showcasing its newest wide format print solutions at the ISA International Sign Expo, April 10 – 12, 2024, held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. For the first time in North America, Fujifilm will be showcasing its new mid-sized ACUITY PRIME Hybrid printer, specifically developed for wide format printing on a variety of substrates – a core foundation for sign printing of all types.

“The ISA International Sign Expo is a must-attend event for graphics professionals, and we’re very eager to engage with creative sign professionals and show our latest innovations,” said Hidetoshi “Toshi” Kino, general manager, FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division. “ISA and Fujifilm share a unique fun fact: we’re both celebrating milestone anniversaries this year, with ISA touting 80 years, and Fujifilm celebrating 90 years of excellence and innovation. Something else we have in common is our strong commitment to this industry, a tradition we look forward to continuing.”

The ISA Sign Expo is a premier annual event for the sign industry, with educational opportunities including workshops and bootcamps, dedicated networking events, and leisure activities designed to foster community and culture during the 3-day event. Fujifilm’s booth #2809 at the ISA Expo will feature live demonstrations of the company’s popular LED UV inkjet wide format presses. Included on the show floor will be:

ACUITY PRIME Hybrid

Fujifilm’s new ACUITY PRIME Hybrid inkjet printer is a mid-range LED UV wide format printer capable of printing both rigid and roll substrates. This unit pairs with Fujifilm UVIJET™ ink and is available in CMYK, with the option to include White, Clear and/or Primer. The ACUITY PRIME Hybrid's versatility allows for printing on flexible and rigid material up to 2 inches thick and roll media up to 6.5 feet wide. With the ability to print up to 1,518 square feet an hour, the ACUITY PRIME Hybrid demonstrates the optimal balance between speed, print quality, and cost effectiveness.

ACUITY PRIME 30

The ACUITY PRIME 30 is a flatbed printer that outputs on rigid and flexible media up to 2 inches thick, at speeds up to 1,615 square feet an hour. This unit is also paired with Fujifilm UVIJET ink and is available in CMYK, also with the option to include White, Clear and Primer. Designed with the press operator in mind, the ACUITY PRIME 30 features an automatic printhead maintenance system, user-friendly interface, 5 vacuum zones, and low ink level alerts.

Additionally, at the 2024 Expo, Fujifilm representatives will be on hand to share information on the company’s ACUITY Ultra R2 press, whose features include the ability to print industrial-sized substrates up to 5 meters wide (16.4 feet), industrial printheads with a 3.5 picoliter drop size, and specially developed LED UV inks, ensuring consistent high quality, durable prints with clear, vibrant results.

All products in Fujifilm’s booth at the Expo will be utilizing Fujifilm’s COLORPATH SYNC™ color management technology to characterize, profile, and ensure accuracy across all devices and adherence to industry standard printing conditions.

As indicated above, representatives from FUJIFILM North America Corporation’s Graphic Communication Division will be available at ISA International Sign Expo, Booth #2809, April 10 -12, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
