Recently, Matriflexo (Ecuador) installed Agfa’s large-format Jeti Tauro H2500 LED inkjet printer to meet the high productivity demands of their clients. Matriflexo was founded 25 years ago and has 100 employees. They print on all types of rigid and flexible materials: displays, signage, labels, etc. Over the years, they have become a reference in the Ecuadorian market. Backing up up the company’s slogan "We turn ideas into packaging", quality, automation, training, speed, and creativity are key. Matriflexo's first Agfa printer was a hybrid Anapurna H1650i LED, which they used for prototyping. It allowed them to grow strongly, leading them to require a more robust machine like the Jeti Tauro to handle a wider part of the market. This proved a success. Supporting the new Jeti Tauro H2500 LED is Agfa’s Asanti workflow software. For Matriflexo, it is a powerful tool that allows them to know how much ink is required for each job, and to make immediate adjustments in the design stage. This is reflected in the efficiency and speed of making the final product, all of which represent tangible savings for their clients. According to Luis Cordero, Matriflexo's human talent and Agfa’s technology have enabled the company to grow significantly in just a few months. This machine has surprised us. It is difficult to fail our clients when we have the best technology.
