July 28, 2022 (press release) –

Dantex has strengthened the software capabilities of its Pico range of digital UV inkjet presses with the introduction of GIS (Global Inkjet Systems) & Esko’s turnkey software solution. Due to the long- standing relationship between Dantex and Esko through OEM agreements, as well as knowledge sharing across multiple print technologies, an extension of this partnership and the introduction of both GIS and Esko capabilities to Dantex’s digital platform is a recipe for success.

The Esko DFE (Digital Front-end) is a turnkey solution for the Pico range within Dantex’s portfolio that enhances digital print for packaging. In addition, Dantex’s printhead having defect-free nozzle technology makes this the complete solution from print job creation to the optimisation of print quality through precise printhead control.

The introduction of the Esko DFE has instantly benefited the end user due to the software’s ease of use and efficiency with such features as controlled systems, which direct the flow of jobs through the Esko DFE components and stores parameters and configurations. Combined with GIS fast screening technologies and GIS Atlas IQ® Tools for image quality control with missing nozzle and printhead density compensations, the result is a seamless end-to-end solution producing optimal performance and high print quality.

One area that Dantex prides itself on is to make it possible for their customers to output the optimal print quality possible for their needs. Therefore, to have the GIS Atlas Software Platform, with its highly configurable print modes to control various resolutions (dpi), greyscale depths, grey scale mapping, colour channels, brand colour management, and print queue control, is extremely important to their digital process. “The partnership between Dantex, Esko and GIS is the perfect example of how industry leaders working together with state-of-the-art technologies can provide significant end-user benefits,” comments Simon Edwards, Business and Product Manager, Software, Global Inkjet Systems, “The end result is a seamless end-to-end solution with fast PDF processing, highly accurate colour reproduction with maximum image quality.”

Dantex is excited to be working with such partners as GIS & Esko, as they are the experts in the fields of colour management, software solutions and workflow management, which dovetails perfectly with Dantex’s knowledge in digital press manufacturing.
