W.F. Young, a global leader in animal health products such as Absorbine and The Missing Link, has announced the appointment of Michael Carlson as director of quality & technical services. In his new position, Carlson will be responsible for all quality control and quality assurance functions required to market the company’s full line of animal health care products. Additionally, he’ll work to support the development of innovative products that enhance the health and wellness of animals around the world. “We’re thrilled to welcome Michael to the W. F. Young team as our new Director of Quality,” said Jaime McKinley, president of W. F. Young. “Under his leadership, we’re confident that Michael will ensure that our products continue to meet the high standards for safety and efficacy that our customers have known and trusted for 130 years.” With nearly 20 years of contract laboratory and manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries, Michael brings a wealth of valuable wisdom and practice to W. F. Young.
