TODAY is America Recycles Day in the USA and Sirane has a wide range of packaging solutions which can be recycled. Today could be the day to take a look… Recyclable packaging from Sirane includes our paper-recyclable pouches and films, recyclable boards including coated boards, and recyclable plastics. We can even offer a range of recyclable absorbent pads… Karl Heggarty, head of global sales, said: “Sirane is well known for it’s NPD and in recent years we’ve added a wide range of recyclable packaging options to our range. “These include our barrier films papers, which are available as both stand-up pouches and flow-wrap film, and our recyclable RePEat films and pouches. “Our coated boards offer recyclable alternatives for products such as salmon boards, meat boards, cake boards and patisserie boards – with water-based coatings meaning the board has the required moisture/grease barrier but is recyclable. “And we’ve recently added a range of paper recyclable absorbent pads – our Earthpads – including the latest addition, which is a cushioned pad for soft fruit.” Our recyclable barrier films and papers – Earthpouch and Earthfilm – are recyclable as part of the paper recycling stream and are endorsed by the UK recycling association. Our RePEat films are mono-material LDPE and recyclable in the PE recycling stream. And our coated boards are recyclable in the paper/card recycling stream. Sirane opened a new manufacturing site in Grand Prairie, Texas, earlier this year. Sirane is an innovative packaging development-to-manufacture company, with expertise in absorbency and material science.
