ProAmpac, a leader in flexible packaging and material science, opens SuperZoo at Booth 5760 with an emphasis on film-based and paper-based sustainable packaging innovation, highlighting the latest additions to the ProActive Recyclable® suite of products: ProActive Recyclable® R-2000 series for treats packaging, PRO-EVO® Recyclable grease-resistant paper bags, and QUADFLEX® Recyclable flat or pinched bottom quad bags. These are in addition to ProAmpac’s conventional products including thermoseal weld polywoven bags, retort pouches, paper bags, and quad-sealed bags and pouches. Featured Recyclable Solutions ProActive Recyclable R-2000D Series is a patent-pending polyethylene-based structure designed to replace conventional multi-material laminates. Available in standard and high barrier, R-2000D is pre-qualified for polyethylene store-drop-off recycling. R-2000D offers outstanding clarity, high drop resistance, optimum stiffness for a premium shelf appearance. It was engineered to run on high-speed form-fill-seal filling lines and provides clean directional tear and improved puncture resistance for treats or other products with harder edges. PRO-EVO Recyclable is a patent-pending multi-wall paper self-opening-sack (SOS) pre-qualified for curbside recycling and ideally suited for dry pet food. Available with standard and high barriers, PRO-EVO Recyclable provides excellent grease and edge-wicking resistance without intentionally adding per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). QUADFLEX® Recyclable is a mono-material film-based flat or pinched bottom quad packaging solution designed for high-speed filling lines. This packaging has excellent drop and dimpling resistance and can be customized with clear windows and surface finishes. This platform is pre-qualified for recycling through the in-store drop-off program.
