Graphic Packaging Holding Company ranked at the top of its industry for the second consecutive year on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies™ for 2024. This award is a tribute to our employees around the world who bring their creativity, passion and diverse perspectives to make us better every day.” To identify the most highly regarded companies, Fortune partnered with Korn Ferry to survey executives, directors, and analysts, who were asked to rate enterprises in their own industry based on nine criteria. The factors evaluated range from investment value and quality of management to corporate social responsibility and the ability to attract talent. This survey selected from around 1,500 candidates, including the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenues. It also included non-U.S. companies from the Fortune Global 500 database that generated at least $10 billion in revenue. The list was winnowed down to the highest-revenue companies in each industry, resulting in a shortlist of 660 companies from 29 countries – a larger, more competitive pool than 2023’s shortlist. From there, the top-rated companies were voted on by executives from the shortlist of candidate companies, resulting in the final ranking table.
