Chilean company Celtex becomes distributor for UK-based Sirane; Celtex will have access to Sirane’s food packaging and horticultural product range for sales in Chile as well as Peru

CHILEAN company Celtex has become a distributor for Sirane in the South American country.

Representatives from Celtex – owner Denis Kennedy and CEO Andrés Barrios -recently visited Sirane, as well as joining our team at London Packaging Week at Olympia at the end of September.

They will have access to Sirane’s food packaging and horticultural product range for sales in Chile as well as Peru.

Celtex is a Chilean company with more than 50 years of experience in the absorbency industry. Originally manufacturing hygiene products, the company evolved and began making absorbent pads for proteins.

Today the company supplies more than 80% of the domestic pads market, mainly for the chicken, pork, turkey, salmon and red meat.

Celtex has a 1,700 sqm manufacturing plant in the city of Santiago, employs 30 people and is ISO 9001 and BRC Packaging certified.

Karl Heggarty, Sirane’s head of global sales, said: “Celtex will be a great addition to our global network, and will help Sirane reach new markets.

“We’re looking forward to working with Andrés and Denis to help get the Sirane name known in Chile and Peru.”
