The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR), the Voice of Plastics Recycling®, will hold "Industry Meets" educational sessions on recyclable package design during PACK EXPO, October 23-26 in Chicago, Illinois. Attend one of the 5 sessions to learn how to create packaging that is Circular by Design™. "The APR Design® Guide for Plastics Recyclability is the leading resource to design packaging that is compatible with recycling infrastructure, and is referenced by organizations across the globe," said Steve Alexander, APR President and CEO. "The APR Design® Guide provides the necessary tools required for companies to successfully meet circularity commitment deadlines." Each session will include an overview of the APR Design® Guide, real-world case studies from brands and their suppliers, and detail how to identify suppliers with verified recyclable solutions. Labels and new label design guidance will be highlighted. Each 90-minute session will feature a panel discussion followed by Q&A and networking.
