The continued efforts support Aptar Beauty’s global goals of our packaging containing 10% recycled material by 2025.

Aptar Beauty, North America continues to expand the portfolio of sustainable dispensing solutions with the addition of two aerosol actuators and fine mist spray, now qualified in up to 46% Post-Consumer Recycled Resin (PCR)*.

We continue to focus on our strategic priority of embedding sustainable product attributes as part of standardized practice here at Aptar, as we believe firmly in our commitments towards a more circular economy,” says Laura Estebanez, President, Aptar Beauty, North America, “by broadening our PCR conversion into our spray portfolio we are able to help our brand partners achieve their aligned goals.”

The EuroMist technology is North America’s best-selling fine mist spray and suitable for a wide range of formulas. Its variety of inserts also allows brands to choose a desired spray output that matches the application need. EuroMist is available in up to 33% PCR* between the fixture, actuator and over cap.

The Moritz aerosol actuator is a classic, twist to lock product that is suitable across a broad range of application fields. The fine-ribbed profile and wide finger pad are designed for ergonomic, ease of use. Moritz is available in up to 40% PCR*, the actuator cover is 100% PCR.

Markus brings a new twist on a timeless product experience with a premium matte finish and textured finger pad. The softer ribs provide a tactile grip when in use. Markus is available in up to 46% PCR, the actuator cover is 100% PCR.

In addition to being available in PCR, the Moritz and Markus aerosol actuators feature a hoodless, integrated twist to lock functionality, eliminating the need for an over cap. The two-piece design provides a 50% resin savings for Moritz and 53% resin savings for Markus**.

Moritz, Markus, and EuroMist in PCR are production ready in North America.
